Crepes have always been a hit and popular around the world. Here I gave it a simple yet sweet and delicious twist by making it with a combination of Chocolate and Banana!!! Serve it as a dessert or make it in morning for breakfast to kick start your day!!! Here comes the easy and quick recipe to make Eggless Chocolate Banana Crepe!!!

Preparation & Cooking Time : under 30 minutes

Yield : 8 crepes serves 4 persons

Ingredients:

For Crepe :
Ripe Banana - 1 big mashed
All Purpose Flour - 1/2 cup
Cocoa Powder - 2 tbsp.
Powdered sugar - 3 tbsp. (Adjust sweetness as per your taste)
Baking Soda 2 pinch
Butter - 2 tbsp. melted
Milk - 1/2 cup or as required
Butter / oil for frying as needed
For Filling :
Ripe Banana - 2 big thinly sliced
Honey or Maple syrup

Method:

  1. In a mixing bowl combine all ingredients mentioned for making crepe. Add milk as required to make a thin batter like Dosa Batter.
  2. Heat the frying pan or skillet and spread little butter on it to avoid crepe sticking to the pan. Now take one ladle of batter and spread it circular on pan to make a thin crepe. Same way we make dosa.

  3. Grease all the corners with butter and turn it to other side once done. Cook other side for a while and crepe is ready.
  4. Make all other crepe one by one.
  5. Now in a big plate place one crepe and top it with honey/maple syrup and sliced banana.
  6. Place another crepe on it and again top it with banana and honey/maple syrup.
  7. Make as much layers you like. I made 4 layers and finally cover it with 5th crepe.
  8. Now slice it carefully with knife or pizza cutter.
  9. Serve it with milk or Ice Cream.

Note:

  1. For variation you can top it with any other fruits you wish i.e. strawberries, apple, mixed berries etc.
