Baked Macaroni with Indian Methi Kadhi

Baked Macaroni cooked in Indian style Fenugreek Yoghourt sauce very famous as 'Methi Kadhi'


Chesse macaroni is very famous all over the world. I make it frequently for my son as it is his favorite dish. But this time I make it with little twist and made a Fusion Macaroni by replacing white sauce with Indian style fenugreek yogurt sauce which is very famous as Methi Kadhi. Try this fusion recipe of Baked Macaroni with Indian Methi Kadhi.

YIELD :4-5 persons

Ingredients:

Methi Kadhi/Fenugreek Yogourt Sauce - 2 cups (check Recipe here)
Macaroni - 100 gms boiled 
Butter - 1 tsp 
Salt as per taste
Pepper as per taste
Onion - 1 medium (finely chopped)
Frozen Mixed vegetables - 1/ cup (Carrot/Peas/Corn)
Shredded Mozzarella Cheese - 1/2 cup 
Bread Crumbs - 1/2 cup 
 

Method:

  1. Prepare Methi Kadhi as per the recipe. Follow the recipe here. Do not add turmeric powder and replace chili powder with black pepper powder. Keep aside.
  2. Cook Macaroni al dante by adding enough water, salt and few drops of oil in it. Once done drain water and run under tap water. Keep aside.
  3. In a pan, heat butter and add onion and mixed vegetables. add salt and pepper powder. Add macaroni and toss them well carefully.
  4. Transfer macaroni in a big baking tray. Pour methi kadhi on it. 
  5. Sprinkle Mozrella cheese on it and finally sprinkle bread crumbs over it.
  6. Bake it on 150 degree C for 15 mins or untill chesse start to melt and turns to brown color.
  7. Once done serve hot.
