Diwali / Deepavali is a festival of lights. It means row of lights. It is celebrated by Indian People in various parts of the world. We perform Pujas for the gods and make many sweets, snacks and savouries. We also invite our relatives and friends home and also visit our relatives and friends to share our joy. Peolpe light Diyas and Burst crackers.
Asa kid Ialways enjoyed diwali with sweets snacks, new dress, crackers, visiting friends, relatives and special programs in Television. For us diwali starts a week before by bursting crackers. We have enjoyed walking on the roads with burst crackers all around.
Now being in Singapore, we miss all those things. But we can always make it up to make our own sweets and snacks and munching it on the diwali times.

Here is a quick link for deepavali Sweets, Snacks, Rice and Savoury. Make whichever you are interested to make and enjoy your diwali this year.

Happy Diwali to all ezcookbook book viewers. may your life be as bright as the Diwali brightness and as merry as the happiness that diwali gives.
