Pasi Paruppu Urundai / Moong Dhal Balls

Do you want to make an easy to make snack for your kid that is nutritious as well? Make this moong dhall balls or pasi paruppu urundai which will be more healthy with proteins hidden inside the balls. My MIL makes it and I love it so much. The procedure for this easy to make dish is as follows and it is a must try for those who haven't tried it so far.

Pasi Paruppu Urundai / Moong Dhal Balls
 

YIELD – 20 Balls

Ingredients:

Moong dhall - 4 cups
Sugar - 1 cup
Ghee - 50g

Method:

  1. Dry roast Moong dhall in a pan.
  2. In a mixer grinder combine moong dhall and sugar and grind until you get a fine powder.
  3. Heat ghee.
  4. Now add ghee little by little to the moong dhall sugar mix powder until the powder becomes moist enough to make balls.
  5. Make balls out of the moong dhall sugar mix.
  6. Serve it or store it for maximum 2 weeks.
  7. A healthy snack is ready.

  • Adjust sugar according to your taste.
