Cheese Macaroni

Cheese Macroni
YIELD: 4 SERVINGS
Ingredients:
Macaroni – 1 cup
Butter – 2 tbsp
Red chilli flakes, to taste
Salt and pepper to taste
White Sauce - 1 cup (check the recipe HERE)
Green Peas – ½ cup
Carrot – 1 chopped
Onion – 1 finely chopped
Garlic – 2-3 cloves finely chopped
Dried breadcrumbs – ¼ cup
Cheddar Cheese – ½ cup grated


Method:
1.      Boil the macaroni uncovered with enough water, oil and salt, stirring occasionally, until just tender. Drain well and rinse with cold water until cold; set aside.
2.      Par boils carrot, peas with salt.
3.      Heat the Butter in a deep frying pan and sauté garlic and onion.
4.      Add all vegetables with salt, chili flakes and pepper as per taste.
5.      Now add boiled macaroni and white sauce. Toss them well.
6.      In a Greased baking dish pour the macaroni mixture.
7.      Sprinkle grated cheese, dried breadcrumbs on top of that.
8.      In a preheated oven bake it for 20 minutes until golden brown.

NOTE:
If you don’t have oven you can microwave it for 4-5 minutes on medium power or you can just cook it on gas stove on low flame until the cheese melt down and browned..
