Corn Methi Pakoda

A combination of corn and methi will make your pakodas more tasty and healthy. Try this easy recipe to make tasty Corn Methi Pakoda in a evening to fulfill the hunger of your loved ones. If served with hot tea or coffee will make the evening more satisfying.

Corn Methi Pakoda

 YIELD –25- 30 pakodas


Besan - 2 cups
Sooji - 1/2 cup
Curd -1 tbsp

Sweet Corn - 1 cup
Methi(Fenugreek) Leaves - 1 cup
Onion - 1 medium
Garlic - 2-3 pods
Ginger - 1" long piece
Salt as per taste
Chili Powder - 1 tsp
Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tsp
Cumin seeds - 1 tsp
Soda bi carb or fruit salt - a pinch
Hing - a pinch
Oil for frying


Corn Methi Pakoda


  1. Add corn, methi, onion and garlic in mixer jar and make a smooth paste. add 2-3 tbsp water if required.
  2. In a large mixing bowl add all the ingredients along with above prepared paste.
  3. Mix well and add required water to make a smooth thick batter.
  4. Heat the oil in a deep frying pan add 1 spoon of laddle in a oil to make pakodas.
  5. Deep fry all the pakodas in a low flame untill they trun brown in color.
  6. Serve hot with tomato sauce and garlic chutney.
