Chilli Bread Fry


Looking for some bread treats, then you are here. This recipe is really an exquisite, mouth appealing treat  for all bread lovers. Bread cubes are tossed with finely spiced veggie sauce, serve with some hot piping soup. This food is perfect menu for kids lunch box and sometimes can be made with leftover bread loafs. Believe me you no need to fry bread, and again that's a low calorie recipe to please your tummy.



Preparation & Cooking Time: 15 Minutes

YIELD : 2 Serving

Ingredients:

Bread Slice - 8 no.
Garlic - 1 tbsp crushed
Onion - 1 medium
Tomato -1 large
Capsicum - 1
Green Peas-1 tbsp (cooked)
Sweet Corn - 2 tbsp
Coriander Leaves - 2 tbsp finely Chopped
Green chilli-2 split length wise
Tomato Sauce- 1 tbsp
Red Chilli Sauce - 1 tbsp
Salt To Taste
Butter - 1 tbsp

Method:

  1. Thinly Slice onion and capsicum as desire.Discard the edges of bread and cut into small cubes.
  2. Heat a fry pan, dry roast bread pieces till golden brown and transfer to the plate.
  3. Heat a tbsp of butter, add garlic and saute till raw smell vanish.Add onion and saute till transparent, stir in green chilli, tomato and mix well. 
  4. Combine tomato sauce, chilli sauce to the gravy and stir till blends well.Add capsicum, green peas, sweet corn, salt and cook till all combine to  form thick sauce.
  5. Finally toss the fried bread on high flame for a minutes.
  6. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with Chilled Raita. 

Note:

For variation add some spring onions and more chilli sauce to add extra spice.
