Burgers are the most favorite food kids usually love. But we are always worried about the burgers bought from fast food joints. Make this chicken burger easily at home so that you know what you have added and so you can be tension free when your kids have it. This is a simpler version.
Chilli powder - 1/2 tsp.
Salt - as per taste
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp.
Cheese slices - 4
Bread crumbs - 1 cup (Optional)
Corn flour - 1/2 cup (Optional)
Lettuce leaves - as required
Tomato - 4 slices
Mayonaisse- as required
Ketchup - as required
Oil - to deep fry.

YIELD – 4 burgers
Ingredients:
Chicken boneless - 300 gramsChilli powder - 1/2 tsp.
Salt - as per taste
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp.
Cheese slices - 4
Bread crumbs - 1 cup (Optional)
Corn flour - 1/2 cup (Optional)
Lettuce leaves - as required
Tomato - 4 slices
Mayonaisse- as required
Ketchup - as required
Oil - to deep fry.
Method:
- Clean the chicken and chop it roughly.
- Grind the chicken with chilli powder, salt and turmeric powder in a mixer grinder. (Do not add water)
- Make 4 equal sized balls with the ground chicken and press it to form patties.
- Grill the patties on a flat griddle by sprinkling oil. This is a healthy version.
- Alternatively Heat oil in a pan to deep fry.
- Coat the patties with the bread crumbs, corn flour mixture. (this step is optional)
- Deep fry them.
- Slice the burger buns in the middle.
- Toast the inner parts of the bun.
- On the bottom part of bun add a layer of lettuce.
- Add a layer of the chicken patty.
- Add a layer tomato slice. Add some ketchup and mayonnaise.
- Add a slice of cheese.
- Close with the top part of the bun.
- The burger is ready. Serve hot. Kids will love it.
