Brinjal 65

Brinjals are one of the vegetables which most people don't like to eat, but they are rich in fiber. Researchers have found this can treat high blood pressure. Make this brinjal 65 to make brinjals more tastier.

Brinjal 65

YIELD –10 pieces


Big violet brinjal - 1
Chilli powder - 1 tsp.
Turmeric powder - 1 tsp.
Salt - as per taste
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp.
Corn flour- 1 tbsp.
Oil - to deep fry


  1. Combine all ingredients except brinjal and oil in a bowl, add water to make a thick batter.
  2. Slice the brinjals to 1/2 cm thick pieces. 
  3. Put the brinjals in the marinate and mix well so that all the brinjals are well coated with the marinate.
  4. Marinate for about half an hour.
  5. Heat oil in a wok. Deep fry the brinjals until golden brown.
  6. Or alternatively grill them on a flat griddle sprinkling oil for a more healthier version.
