Thai Mango Salad

Tickle your taste buds with this sweet, sour, spicy and salty Thai mango salad. Follow this easy and simple recipe...





YIELD: 3 SERVINGS
Ingredients:
Thai Green Mango (shredded) – 1 no.
Bean sprout – ¾ cup
Red Thai chili - 2-3 finely chopped
Peanuts (toasted) - 40g crushed
Dry shredded coconut – 2 tsp
Spring Onion – 2 springs chopped
Coriander, to garnish
Salad Dressing:
Light Soya sauce – 2 tbsp
Lemon juice -1 tbsp
Honey – 2 tsp
Thai chili sauce - ¼ tsp

Method:
1.      Mix all the ingredients given for salad dressing and keep aside... The dressing should be a mingling of sweet, sour, spicy and salty..
2.      Peel the mangoes and grate the flesh of the mangoes using a medium to large-size.
3.      In a large bowl add grated mango, bean sprouts, chopped coriander leaves, chopped spring onions, coconut and chopped Thai chilies.
4.      Add dressing in the salad as per taste and toss well.
5.      On a serving platter transfer the salad and sprinkle the nuts, coconut and coriander over top. Enjoy!


NOTE:
Usually Thai green mangoes are sweet and sour in taste. If you don't find Thai mango and using any other mango which is sour in taste you can be considerate using lemon juice in dressing.
