Stuffed Tindora Curry

Roasted dhal is powdered with coconut and red chilli ,salt.This mixture is stuffed inside tindora and cooked well. Stuffed Tindora Curry can be served along with hot rice with ghee for lunch.
Stuffed Tindora Curry

Yield:2 servings
Ingredients: 
Tindora -1cup
Roasted Gram Dhal - 1/4 cup
Grated Coconut-1/4 cup
Red Chilli- 5no
Tamarind paste-1/2 sp
Salt to taste.
Seasoning:
Mustard -1/2tsp
Split Urad Dhal-1/2tsp
Cumin Seed-1/2tsp
Curry leaves-1 spring
Wet Masala For Stuffing:
Roasted Gram Dhal - 1/4 cup
Grated Coconut-1/4 cup
Red Chilli- 5no
Tamarind paste-1/2 sp
Turmeric powder-1/4tsp
Salt-1tsp
Method:
1.      Wash and slit each tindora twice in right angles keeping one end intact to avoid it falling apart once cooked.
2.      Boil the tindora in enough water with 1/2 sp salt n turmeric powder.
3.      Boil till tindora  is cooked and turns just soft.
4.      Drain excess water and keep it aside.
5.      Grind the ingredients mentioned for wet masala in mixie or food processor to coarse paste.
6.      Stuff the wet masala in each tindora carefully without breaking its edge.
7.      Heat oil in a fry pan, add all seasoning ingredients one by one.
8.      Add in the stuffed Tindora and leftover wet masala, sauté well  and cook covered on low flame with occasional stir.
9.      Cook the curry until all ingredients blends well and switch off the flame once oil starts oozing out from curry.
10. Serve hot Stuffed Tindora Curry with Steamed Rice, Roti...

NOTE:
Make sure that Tindora is not overcooked.
