Onion Podi Dosa

Dosa an excellent Indian breakfast prepared basically with the combination of rice and urad dhal in the ratio 2:1 proportion.It has got full nutritional benefits since the batter is being set to ferment overnight period.The fermentation process increases the vitamin B and vitamin C content.This onion podi dosa is made with onion and podi on dosa batter as main ingredient.

Onion Podi Dosa
Ingredients:
Dosa Batter - 1cup
onion -2medium chopped
Idly Chilli Powder - 5tbsp
oil as needed

Method:
1.      Heat a flat pan/dosa tava (flat griddle), grease 1/2tsp of oil evenly.
2.      Pour the dosai batter using ladle from center and keep rotating the ladle till edge of the pan to get circular form of crepe.
3.      Add onion chops and idly chili powder on the top of the dosa.

4.      Drizzle oil allover the surface of the dosa and onto the edges, this will enhance the flavour and taste of podi in dosa.
5.      Keep cooking on medium flame until golden brown on one side and make a fold of some desired shapes like cone, semi circle, triangle.....
6.      Serve hot onion podi dosa with Coconut Chutney and Sambhar.

NOTE:
To add more taste can use Small onions, cilantro, green chilli.
