Mushroom Pepper Fry

Mushrooms are low in calorie, fat free, low in sodium, cholesterol free but they are rich in selenium, potassium, riboflavin, niacin, vitamin D and more. Make this mushroom pepper fry and serve it with Rotis, Chappathis, fried rice or steamed rice. Don't forget to give us your feedback.

Mushroom Pepper Fry

YIELD – 4 SERVINGS

Ingredients:

Mushroom - 200 grams
Onion - 2
Tomato - 2
Ginger - 1"
Garlic - 2 cloves
Pepper powder - 1 tsp.
Chilli powder - 1/4 tsp.
Garam Masala - 1/2 tsp.
Turmeric Powder - 1/4 tsp.
Salt - as per taste
Coriander leaves - to garnish
Oil -3 tbsp.


Method:

  1. Clean and chop mushrooms.
  2. Chop onions and tomatoes finely.
  3. Heat oil in a pan.
  4. Add Ginger, Garlic and saute well.
  5. Add Onions and saute until they turn translucent.
  6. Add tomatoes and all the spices and salt. Saute until tomato becomes tender and raw smell disappears.
  7. Add the mushrooms. Add little water since mushrooms leave out water.
  8. Cook until mushrooms are cooked and it blends well.
  9. Garnish with coriander leaves.
