Cilantro Coconut Chutney

The green chutney is made with cilantro/coriander with fresh grated coconut.


Cilantro Coconut Chutney is made easy as to grind all ingredients together and can be served as a good accompaniment with Idly, dosa, Upma, kichidi sometimes with bhaji, pakoda too. Cilantro is rich in vitamin A and vitamin E. Coconut has no-trans fat is gluten free,
however it does contain a good amount of protein and fibre. Try this healthy chutney at your home. It even improves heart health and supports overall immune system. having fresh coconut without cooking is more healthy. Use coconut at the final stage of your cooked food to get its benefit completely.

YIELD –2 Serving

Ingredients:

Cilantro/Coriander-1cup
Freshly Grated Coconut-1cup
Green Chilli-4no
Ginger-1/2tsp chopped
Salt-1tsp
Lemon Juice-2tbsp

Method:

  1. Combine all the ingredients and  pulse to smooth chutney using blender/mixer.
  2. Add 1tbsp of Lemon Juice for sour taste at the end.
  3. Season and serve  the chutney with Breakfast recipes.

Note:

Lemon Juice is optional and adjust green chilli according to your spice.
